Coureur de Bois Repas

The Voyageur Bistro and Dairy Farmers of Canada are pleased to host their 1^st celebration of the famous “runners of the woods” or Coureur de Bois. These early independent entrepreneurial French-Canadian woodsman traveled in New France and the interior of North America come back in spirit for this wonderful dinner. Fresh baked bannock with Okanagan wines, hearty soups with great Canadian cheeses and a warm winter repas is all you need to recreate the atmosphere of the early days. Join hosts Kevin Tessier, Proprietor of the Voyageur, wine educator Gerrit Van Staalduinen and David Beaudoin from Dairy Farmers of Canada as they being alive the memories of the discovery of the new world in Canada.
