JUDGING CRITERIA
Entries are judged on individual merit as well as competitively in comparison to other entries in that category. Judges will base their decisions on originality, design, colour, and text of the label on the bottle or package. In all categories, the judges will look for visually distinct label designs that best reflect the character of the category of wines. Specifically, they will look to the success to which the winery has connected the overall look of the label and its internal design elements with both the bottle shape/size and the traditional image of the specific wine type.
ENTRY PROCESS
The British Columbia Wine Awards entries will all be done online, click here to be taken to the registration form. When you enter your wine label and pay for the entry fee, you will submit a high resolution art image of your wine label online to allow us to use this file to circulate to all judges.
