"Get Home Safe" Program

The Okanagan Wine Festivals Society is proud to provide patrons of select Signature Events a taxi ride after the event. The “Get Home Safe” program is designed to provide a safe ride home from the Signature Event to your residence or hotel only. “Get Home Safe” does not provide a ride to restaurants, nightclubs, or other licensed establishments. We ask that any patron who has consumed any alcohol never get behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?
Patrons of a Signature Event that is offering the "Get Home Safe" program may request a taxi ride from the event directly to their residence or hotel. When requested, event staff will provide a voucher valued up to $25.00; anything over that amount must be paid for by the guest. There will be a designated pickup point with appropriate signage at the event manned by staff and security personnel to make sure that every guest who requests a taxi ride receives one. This service is first-come-first-served.

How do I know if a Signature Event offers the "Get Home Safe" program?
