Black Hills Estate Winery

Founded in 1996, Black Hills Estate Winery produces premium wines from its estate vineyards on the acclaimed Black Sage Bench, in British Columbia’s Okanagan Valley. Our Wine Experience Centre is located on the beautiful Black Sage Bench, and we are devoted to delivering extraordinary experiences that will become a lifetime memory. Surrounded by sun-kissed vineyards, you will find a true wine country escape. Crafting wines since 1999, and led by acclaimed winemaker Ross Wise, MW, discover wines that pair tradition with the unconventional. Born and raised in New Zealand, Ross joined the Black Hills Estate Winery team as winemaker in 2019, where he enjoys pushing wine quality boundaries for Black Hills’ premium portfolio, while also leading the transition to organic and biodiversity focused farming. Black Hills Estate Winery is well-known for its outstanding range of wines. The signature blend: Nota Bene, is an age-worthy Bordeaux-style red blend produced in limited quantities from selected parcels of grapes on the Estate. Black Hills also produces stunning Bordeaux and Rhone Valley inspired blends including Addendum, Per Se, Ipso Facto, Bona Fide, Alibi and Rosé, as well as single variety expressions of Viognier, Chardonnay, Roussanne, Syrah, Tempranillo and Carménère.
