Haywire Winery

Haywire sprang to life when curiosity about what Switchback Vineyard would yield won out over practicality and a tiny amount of wine was made. The name was an obvious one, as what the future held was anyone’s guess. In 2011 Haywire moved to its forever home in Summerland, BC. Now with the end of their successful custom crush business, founders Christine and Steve mark a new era. An inviting modern visitor center is now open at Okanagan Crush Pad and the winery has been renamed Haywire after the wine that started the journey. Staying true to its “less is more” philosophy. Wines are made with a gentle hand pushing each vintage to express its unique personality and reflect the natural spectacular setting of the Okanagan. Visitors can explore organic vineyards, tour a state-of-the-art wine cellar, and enjoy wines in a relaxing tasting lounge with a vineyard setting that offers a view into the action-packed winemaking cellar. Wines flights are designed to suit your taste and can be paired with light fare to round out your experience.
